Need Ideas - New York Theme Gift Baskets
Ok, we are starting to plan what will go in our gift baskets/bags for our out of town guests (mostly from Michigan - FH's family) for their hotel rooms.
We are going with the theme of New York:
Here is what we have sofar:
CD - with several songs with NY or LI in them
2 apples
NY Deli Chips
5th Avenue Bar
Pindar Wine
Help - need more ideas!

The Classic I (heart) NY T-Shirts - they are so cheap to buy in Times Square.
Mini Cheesecakes
NYTimes or New York Magazine (or Time Out NY - so they can find things to do in the city)
Little Bag of peanuts off the street
all of these are NYC based, I am assuming you ar having a LI wedding. Are they going to be venturing into the city?

yes it is a long island wedding, but it is over thanksgiving weekend so people have extra time to get into the city.

Metro card? Subway map? (FYI Subway maps are FREE and they are pretty cool to take home).
i like the I love NY" t-shirt idea a lot. You can get them for about $2 in the village!

There's North Fork Potato chips. You can order them in bulk online (i don't remember the web address). Long Island candle works candles would be nice too.

Macy's in the city has a ton of the I Love NY candy bars that I put in my OOT bags.
They also have a bunch of NY themed candy with cabs and the statue of liberty...very cute stuff.
You can add LIRR Train schedules or a bottle of LI wine.
