Anyone been to the Sandals in the Bahamas?
I have been to the turks and Caicos one and thought it was OK. I know the Negril and St. Lucia ones might even be nicer but I was looking for like a 4 day quick get away and dont want to fly far..

nov2004bride went there on her HM--she gave it a great review on the review board. We went to Negril and the plane ride isn't much further at all.

www.tripadvisor.com has good reviews of all the Sandals resorts. DH and I were thinking about that one for December.

Well true the plane ride wouldnt be much further to Negril but its then an 90 minute drive from the airport to the resort. I only have 4 days so I dont wanna loose a few hours in traveling back and forth to the airport. Im sure the beaches of Negril are much nicer though then the bahamas.

Re: Anyone been to the Sandals in the Bahamas?
We went to Sandals Royal Bahamian in 2001. On 9/11 to be exact...
I found the resort to be not a nice as St. Lucia or Antigua or Royal Plantation (which I love)..the place looked a little run down and some of the restaurants were closed. Besides that, the place had to deal with people not being able to get home and the whole 9/11 thing and I thought they were very gracious and accommodating.
I wouldn't necessarily run back there, but I woudn't write it off either. The beach was nice. Jamaica's beaches are nicer though.
