FLORIST/ LIMO/ DAY OF COORDINATOR
Hi Girls,
I'm trying to decide on a florist, a limo company, and a day of coordinator. Please Help!
We met with Royalty and Alexis Limos. We got quotes for both but I need to know if there are any other limo companies you girls loved!!
I can FM you quotes to compare.
Also, we met with Pedestals and Scotto Brothers on Premise Floral Design. We got quotes from both. We were supposed to meet with Flower Michele too but they forgot to tell us that they moved their location from Huntington to Mineola.. I have heard a lot about Flower Michele and I really want to know what the fuss is all about.
Also, we need a day of coordinator!! Any recommendations or people I should not meet with? Please help in any way you can.

For Limos I heard Sir Oliver was wonderful. We didn't use limos so I can't really say either way. I personally cannot stand Royality, but they get tons of rave reviews on here. Again, I didn't use them I just have a past problem with them.
Florist. Flower Michelle gets tons of rave reviews and from what I see on here their work is AMAZING! I used Scotto Brothers and our flowers were WONDERFUL...BUT this was also a different situation. We booked when WM was a Scotto Bros co. Christopher was wonderful. Bobby at WM did our flowers and they were gorgeous! Now..with the changes I can't say who will be doing your flowers or if they're going to be as nice. My suggestion...find a bride who recently used them with your hall OR look at floral decorations within your hall. The in-house florist does them.

DOC... there's a wide range of them. I met with three. One gets tons of raves on here, but again...her attention to detail was not there. In e-mails she used incorrect names for us twice... . Another I met with was like a "drill sargent" and was making it her wedding...not mine. The one I chose was Jodi from Simplicity Planning. She was great. Very friendly and supports you in whatever YOU want.
I also hear rave reviews about Rosalie. Very highly recommended on here. Definitely give her a look. Ummm... Oh Maxine...P0SH PR0DUCTIONS...AND Christine at IT'S Y0UR DAY. Both LIW brides and wonderful, affordable coordinators.

I used flowers by Brian and they were magnificent. I received a lot of compliments on them. I also used Royalty Limos and nothing but wonderful experiences with them. You can check my album here on LIW to see pics of the flowers.

I used and would whole heartedly recommend Royalty for Limo, Flower Michele for flowers and Rosalie from Expressions for DOC. All 3 were absolutely wonderful and I would use them again in a heart beat.

I also highly recommend Royalty for Limos and Flower Michele for florist. I used both vendors and cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. Royalty went over and above in terms of service. The were early and in turn got everyone to each location on time. Flower Michele gave me the flowers of my dreams. I still get comments on my bo-k. John nailed the burgundy callas!!! I loved it!!!

I had a really good experience with my florist, limo company, and DOC.
For limos, we used Top Class Limo in Yonkers. For florist, we used Arcadia in Westchester (Mamaroneck) - I was really pleased with their work, so if you're willing to trek up to Westchester, definitely check them out (it's about a 30 minute drive from the Garden City area). For DOC, I used Elaine from Exquisite Events and she was incredible.

I also used Jodilynn for Simplicity Planning and invitations, I also talked to a few others but I knew I was going to book her just from the conversation we had over the phone. During the planning of my wedding she went above and beyond in making sure that my day was going to be wonderful. The day of she was on point with everything she made my day of so smooth, I can't Imagine my wedding without her. She was professional and very calm when I was not. Both my Aunt and sister is going to use her services for next year everyone is very happy with her. If you need anymore information you can FM me.

We used Royalty - loved them!
Florist - Verbena Designs - she did an amazing job - so creative and wonderful - I am so happy we used her - she made my dreams come true! Love her!
DOC - Rosalie - who doesn't love Rosalie?!
She takes care of everything - def make an appointment with her. Loved her.

I have to recommend "With all my heart" in Port Jeff. Linea is a florist/coordinator, plus she has a full service store for favors, veils etc... I used Them for my October 8th wedding. I still have to put up my review, but they were awesome! I had met with 3 other florists and was totally unimpressed. They did my bouquets, CP'S, cake & church, etc... Check them out, they are a vendor on here.
