LI Weekend -Mini Honeymoon any ideas?

LI Weekend -Mini Honeymoon any ideas?
After my wedding on sept 29th, we are waiting a month before we head to our honeymoon destination. I would like to stay in a B&B or really nice hotel in Long Island somewhere, since my reception is in Roslyn Long Island. My wedding will end at 5pm.
Can anyone suggest a beautiful place to stay in LI as a mini honeymoon for 2 days? Something like Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY or Acadia, Maine or Cape cod? any Reastaurants we have to eat at?
Someone suggested Port Jefferson? Any one second that?

My cousin runs a B&B in the Hamptons. If you would like I can get the info on how much and what there is to do out there in September. I know that the fall is very nice out on Eastern Long Island because of all the vinards.

How about Montauk. Maybe try the Guerneys Inn.

we are also waiting a month to take our honeymoon and are going to either the Hamptons or Montauk for a mini honeymoon.
