For girls with all inclusive honeymoons

How much "spending cash" are you bringing with you. we are going away for one week. I was thinking $2k should be plenty.

Re: For girls with all inclusive honeymoons

We were going to bring AT Least $1K - going away 7 days, 6 nights, so yes, $2K is more than enough.

We brought about $1000 with us on the HM and 2 credit cards. We didn’t do much shopping and came home with plenty of $$

Re: For girls with all inclusive honeymoons

the only money we actually spent was probably around 100 dollars in tips for the help and we bought some souvenirs for people which were probably around 2-300
thats why it is all inclusive!!!!!!
but if you guys are shoppers then i would bring alot more.
we went for 11 days and did nothing but eat and drink and relax and well

Re: For girls with all inclusive honeymoons

we go away alot, and I am the type of person who hates to carry cash, I never have more than $50 in my wallet at anytime... but FH usually brings a couple grand in cash & credit cards

We went to Sandals Antigua last year and we only spent about $1200 on excursions and spa treatments that weren't included

we went to aventura spa palace in playa del carmen and they treated us like royalty we are definetly going back!

weve been to mexico before and went on excursions before that is why we felt the need not to spend the $$$ on it this time.

good luck

Re: For girls with all inclusive honeymoons

We spent less than $500. But again, we didn't do much outside the resort and the food was gourmet (liquor top shelf - we have our priorities straight! ) but had this not been the case, we would have spent $1000. We were away for 10 days.

ETA: The most we spent was on tips...around $250-300. But the staff and drivers deserved every penny!

Re: For girls with all inclusive honeymoons

we are going to Aruba for 7 days, i am thinking at least 1k in cash. I will shop with credit cards. Some of the restaurants have small surcharges for different items, but all our liquor and food is pretty much included.

Re: For girls with all inclusive honeymoons

We spent about $1200 and we are huge shoppers. In fact we had to buy a new duffle bag just to bring back all of our stuff! This also included day trips/excursions.
