scared, nervous, anxious, stressed... A BRIDE-TO-BE... UPDATE on bottom

am i the only one feeling like this?

according to my countdown, there are 26 days, 4 hours, 46 minutes, 11 seconds to go and i want to run away!

suddenly, i feel like EVERYTHING needs to be done NOW. and i feel SICK.

fh has not been very helpful throughout the process. this morning, i sent him a text message. i told him that there are less than four weeks to go and i NEED help. and i need him to help me. i also told him that if he's going to break his word on helping me, that i'm calling it all OFF.

i can't finish this all by myself. i just can't.

i want it to be over.

why am i feeling this way?

What do you have left to do? Can your bridal party help you at all? Do you have an organized list? I was feeling stressed about all my projects and just making a detailed list really helped me calm down. I did everything myself, and trust me - I did A LOT of DIY!

Oh libby I feel your pain! I can't wait for it to be over too. The planning and coordinating is endless!Maybe we can help you here?

Little things that I do to help me get through a nervous attack...remember who I am marrying and why (though if you are pissed at him this may not help)...make a list of everything you need to do - put it on paper...do one of those things (like making a phone call) just so you can check it off and see some accomplishment.

Can you ask your mom, or a friend to help? Most people won't mind helping out with the last minute stuff I am sure.

And if there is anything that you really don't have to do, just say - the heck with it, we really didn't need it anyway!

I started by the "must have" then prioritized.... If you run out of time...forget about some extra stuff.

Trust me. Nobody will notice.

I am so sorry that you are feeling this way!!!

I hope that things get better and that you don't feel as stressed! I would definitely ask your BP to help out and talk to your FH and let him know how overwhelmed you are and hopefully he will see you need his help the next month.

i guess it's been a combination of a lot of things.

i feel like david letterman... but here goes... top five reasons THIS bride is about to cry

5. my bp is COMPLETELY from out of state, so they can't do anything

4. i've been feeling sorry for myself because i'm doing it ALL by myself

3. i got an email from the rh about something that i should have been called about. and it stressed me out.

2. fh has broken a few promises lately, and i'm really hurt.

AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON......

i just got my period and i'm really emotional.

again, ladies. thanks for helping me put things in perspective.

i did make a list, and i've already crossed two things out.

its completely normal, i am getting married this sunday and i am a combination of stressed and freaked and in shock lol. It doesn't seem real yet and i feel like there is so much to do! Even though i think i did it all, for some odd reason after months or having so much to do i think i just conditioned myself lto think there is so much. Lol. You will see your last 2 weeks you will get most of the last minute stuff done and be relaxed the week of. Hang in there!

a little update.... your kind words helped calm me down A LOT.

i made my list.... and i am happy to announce that i am still at work and FIVE, yes---COUNT THEM.. FIVE THINGS HAVE BEEN CROSSED OFF MY LIST!!!

you are only engaged for a short time so try to enjuy it cause when its over you might be sad!
make a list and cross off as you go - itmakes you feel like you accomplish things and putting things on paper always make it feel more manageable

a week before my wedding my list was 3 pages long - toward the end i prioritized what REALLY needed to be done and it all happened!

Focus on the end result - a HUSBAND a {PARTY and a HONEYMOOON!

call your BM and ask them to help you and then enjoy a night out with the girls.

Hang in there...you'll get it all done...you've made it this far!

In a few days, if you're anything like me, the overwhelmed feeling will subside...I don't get pmS, I get pmOVERWHELMED...every month..just took me about 20 years to realize that I do...now i accept it, deal with it, and don't allow myself to make any major life decisions during that time (like calling off my wedding!)

Only 2 more weeks - you're gonna make it!
