Hi Girls, didn't know if you knew about this. You can order your own custumized maps of the Disney parks. You pick the rides/attractions you want on the map, and then order them, they are free. You can order one set every 6 months. They are really neat looking, kinda like treasure maps, really cool souveneir. I ordered ones with my soon to be last name. It says "The Smith Family" at the top of the maps. You just have to register for free to the Disneyworld website, which has alot of good planning info. Here is the link:

awesome! I just ordered our maps

have any of you girls been to universal / islands of adventure.?? if so, can you do both those parks in 1 day?? we were only planning on going for 1 day, now im not sure if we need to make it in 2 days.

I have been to both, and I did both in one day. Islands of Adventure has the coaster rides, and Universal studios has the movie rides. But you can def. do both parks in one day.

oh that is sooooooo good to know!! thank you so much for replying

just got back from universal on August 10. we had free tickets and purchased the express passes so we were able to do most of the rides in one day. the only reason we did not do all of them was because men in black and one of the dragon coaster was down that day

it is definitely doable

Are you girls gonna do the photopass in Disney? I read some stuff about it, but never used it when I was there. I was wondering if it is worth it?

I have used it (see my profile). They charge a lot to print the pics, but at least you can use the digital files to send to friends via email

The great thing about it is that all the pics you take are on one file, so no stopping at each park to view pics. You can wait until the end of your vacation to order them or wait until you get home to view/order your pics! They make it way too easy.

Ooooh, that pic came out great! I was wondering what the quality would be like too. I heard they can add special effects to the pics too, like tinkerbell. I really was thinking about getting it because then you don't have to stop a random person to take pics, the photopass people can take them (and u don't have to worry about them running off with your brand new expensive camera) .

as for mickey's not so scary halloween party....

we've been to mickey's very merry christmas party and just 2 weeks ago we went to the pirate & princess party .... staying in the park after its closed & only open to people who bought the tixx is great... u can ride so many rides! and they always have a special fireworks show horeographed especially for that party!!! good move booking those tixx!!!

ps- u have to wear a costume...bring your dress & dress up as a bride! its a great excuse to wear it again! it will prob get dirty in the park though. i would totally do it though!!!

Re: Disney Honeymoon Thread

I have 7 day park hopper passes (two of them) that I'm selling if anyone is interested. We paid over $700 for them. They include the waterpark option. FM if you are interested. I have them on Craigslist for $600, but I'll knock another $100 off for an LIW bride.

How cute are these?
You can order them from the Lenox website, and you can personalize them. They are $25 each.
