Hello everyone:

My name is Lyssa and I wanted to explain a bit about my situation in hopes that some of you may find it in your hearts to assist me.

My 3 year old son, Luke, was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder a little over a year ago. PDD is on the Autism Spectrum.
Ever since the diagnosis, I have been researching treatments, etc. and also ways to help raise money for research. As many of you know, Autism effects 1 in 150 children, mostly boys. It has reached epidemic proportions and just now is gaining the recognition it deserves.

I started a team for this years Autism United HOPE Walk. It is taking place on September 30th at Belmont State Park. I set the bar very low, only 5 team members and $1000 worth of donations, because it is my first year. What I need now is walkers and donations.

If you or anyone you know, individuals or businesses, would like to help find a cure for Autism, please visit:

HOPE Walk

Thank you so much for your time,
Lyssa (VadersBride2006)

P.S. Here is a picture of my son, so you can see who we are helping!
