Black and white themed wedding
hey guys! I am newly engaged and loving the planning. I keep thinking about things i can do and i know how crafty you girls are! So i was thinking what are your ideas on a black and white themed wedding. like what are some things i can do? Of course my girls are wearing black dresses with white flowers...but i want something different....

My wedding was a black/ivory. I had my BM in black/ivory gowns, GM in black vest + tie w/their tux, ivory invites, ivory/black programs, black framed placecard holders, black/ivory cake......I did choose flowers that would really POP against all the black/ivory!

I was thinking about doing the Black and White wedding too!!!
I found a cake I love and pretty much is why I want the Black and White theme. I might add some burnt orange in there as well since I think I am going for the fall.

Your cake can be black and white and you can give your guests black and white cookie....I am pretty sure they have black roses (really expensive), your FH can be in white tux and GM in black ones. Ask your guests to wear black (no white so you stand out)

I am thinking about doing black and white and then like accenting red. Idk maybe having my flowers in that dark red color? I think they are called black majic or blood red roses. do you think black and white is bad for a june wedding?

I think black and white would work any time of the year. If you wanted a more spring/summer feel maybe use a pastel with the black and white.

My weddding was in July, so that's why I went with the really bright flowers! I think a black/white wedding is classic and can be done any time of the year!
Ordered the butterflies from Swallowtailfarms.com. I ordered 6 dozen for the guest to release (instead of having them throw rose petals), another dozen for me and my flower girls to open and then 2 dozen for me and my husband to release! They were AWESOME!!!
