we are doing a donation to the SIDS foundation (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) since I had a younger brother who died from that as well as mini champagne bottles I think because we are getting married right before xmas and nye's so i thought the champange was cute since you pop that for nye's

Since I'm having a Broadway Theme, our favors are cds (Jason and I's Broadway Picks) which are songs from all the shows we've seen together.
My shower on the other hand, I'm having a recipe shower so I heard that my give-aways are ice scream scoop.

Mima came from Islip animal shelter, but they're a kill-shelter, so I'm not donating to them! Little shelter rescues animals from kill shelters!

As of now we are doing ice cream scoops with hershey kisses and a tag that says " A scoop full of kisses from the new Mr. & Mrs."
FH loves ice cream and I love chocolate--it's perfect for us!

we're doing mini aluminum planters filled with brown m&M's (dirt) and a plantable card in the shape of a flower that your guest can plant in real dirt of course and have wildflowers grow.
I didn't want to do another crystal picture frame that I have way too many of thanks to other weddings, so I decided on DIY project. I'm going with aluminum/galvanized steel garden accessories as a somewhat theme

We are getting apple butter, maple coated popcorn, blueberries and pancake mix and packing it all up in a box and giving them to our guests as favors. We are getting everything from Dakin Farm in Vermont, It will go perfect with our "Fall in Vermont" theme.

We are doing donations to The American Diabetes Associates and one of the Alzheimer's funds.. (my whole family practically has diabetes and Fh's grandparents has Alzheimers) and then at each place setting will be this box and wedding almonds..

The most useful favor I got was from a wedding last year. We all got small bamboo plants with a plain glass vase. The bamboo had small brown stones in the bottom. Pretty. It worked well since it was a Chinese wedding!
