Re: Carnival cruisers !!! HELP !!!

OMG I just went on the Carnival Victory. Came back Monday and I didn't like it. The food was not good and the service was not nice. I am not a cruise person, but everyone else on the boat said the same thing. Personally I would look into another cruise ship if I were you. We were on Deck 7 with a balcony and the room was fine. Only noise were our noisy neighbors.

Good Luck!

Re: Carnival cruisers !!! HELP !!!

Hi
Dh and I cruised on the Carnival Fantasy in January and we were on Riviera deck (i think its deck 4 or 3 dont remember, but its the lowest) I thought the noise from the engine was loud but it didnt really bother me that much.
Food at dinner was pretty good and the service was good. in the buffet the food was just ok. and everyone kept saying the boat was very small compared to the newer boats.

good luck!!

DH & I were on Carnival Miracle for our Honeymoon. The Service and the Food was Fantastic, our cabin had a balcony, we were on level 4 and there was no noise at all. The ship was awesome, I highly recommend this ship. It sails out of NY. The ships workers were so nice and friendly to
us. We had such a Great time that we can't wait to go on another Carnival
Cruise!!!!

FH and I went on Carnival Miracle as a we-graduated-college! trip and the food and service were outstanding. we didn't have tons of money so we booked with one of those rooms where you just take whatever they have and upgrade you if the lowest things are booked. (a family friend said she always gets upgraded when she does this)

we ended up getting upgraded from the lowest room to a mid-range room with a partially obstructed window view (a life-boat was blocking part of our view) but it was a much bigger and nicer room than we would have gotten otherwise for the price! our room was totally quiet (i think it was somewhere in the middle, but not dead center, dont remember what floor) but we had an amazing amazing time. i cant wait to go on another cruise!!

edit: the cruise we went on left from FL but it was carnival miracle.... it was a few years ago though

FH and I went on carnival miracle last year. I think we were on level four and there was no noise at all. We also had a balcony and I would reccommend this to anyone because the deck gets very crowded, but not only that, it's also very romantic. The workers made us feel like royalty. Definitely a great experience.
