Sandals Bahamas

Has anyone been? What did you think? I heard it's all inclusive including activities, like scuba diving. Is this true? I also heard it's adults only, is this true also?

Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Re: Sandals Bahamas

all sandals are adults only. Go to www.tripadvisor.com and look it up on there. There are a bunch of reviews and a lot of people go into detial.

Re: Sandals Bahamas

We went there in October (its where we got engaged). Its a really beautiful resort. All food and activies are included as far as I'm aware, but I would definitely check on the scuba. They have activities going on all the time, in the pools and on the grounds. We did snorkling, that was definitely included. Take the time to go to the offshore island, its gorgous there and they have a great little restaurant.

Is that the island next to the resort which a ferry boat takes you? It looks so secluded and nice. There is a restaurant there?

Re: Sandals Bahamas

Yes its their own separate island. They have a little "ferry" that brings you back and forth. I think it runs every half hour or something like that. The island is only open during the day, except when they have a party one night. We arrived on a Friday and they had a "Survivor" party. They have a small outdoor restaurant (lunchy foods, like hamburgers and fries), a pool, and the beach. They create great romantic opportunities with lounge chairs on the beach and love seats by the pool.

FH and I went for 3 nights and it was enough for me. I'm not the type of person who can sit by the pool or beach all day. I was definitely relaxed and ready to go home after those 3 days. The hotel lobby has board games that you can borrow. One night we borrowed monopoly and brought it outside. We moved a table and chairs under a lightpost and just sat by the water and played. There was a band playing in the background, it was lots of fun. Also, the food is great. Definitely check out as many restaurants as you can. I was full the entire time.
