Italy Tours

DH and I are looking to visit Italy and don't know where to begin. I have been there once, but only visited the town my parents are from.

All of you who toured Italy, which cities did you visit? How did you go about deciding which tour to go on and who did you use to book this? Can you recommend a good TA for booking this trip?

ive been twice but on my own both times so i can't recommend any tours. the first time i backpacked so all i used was the Let's Go Europe book as my guide :)

I"m trying to get dh to go but he's so not into that kind of vacation. I can look at churches and museums till the cows come home, he'd rather stick bamboo shoots under his fingernails. he just wants to sit on a
