cliche

Im getting married around valentines day (the day before to be exact) but i dont want to have red as my color theme. 1 reason is im trying to stay away from roses since there prices are jacked up for valentines and 2. i think it is so unimagninative (no offense to anyone) does anyone have any ideas? my FH and i love seeing broadway shows and were actors in college so we thought to have a playbill theme but one of our friends recently did that...is it bad to steal their idea. HELP!!!!!

Re: cliche

I don't think so since your wedding will be 2 years after their (at least) and plus you can make it your own!!

Good Luck!!

Re: cliche

You could do just a winter wonderland theme instead of the V-day thing.

Re: cliche

the whole thing with teh flowers being more expensive depends on the florist. i met with 4 florists and they all told me something different..one said you get less for your money, another said its the same price, another said it depends where they get them from so i wouldnt let the holiday make you not use roses, shop around.

i was planning on using red no matter what month i got married, we happened to pick february but if you wanted to use red you could do red and gold so it wont be so valentine like...or perhaps black pink and silver? or wintery like silvers and blues and whites?
