honestly I would be very upset also..you definately need to talk to him about this..and definately keep your money from your co op to yourself (maybe put it into a savings account as the other girls suggested)..especially if he won't include your name on the deed..personally (as horrible as this may sound) use the money toward yourself..until he comes around...if your going to split half of your money..he should split half of the ownership on your (or in this case his) new house..meaning the deed,...good luck..I hope everything works out!

I would not contribute any of the sale of the co-op to his home without your name on the deed, even though in divorce, unless you have a pre-nup or contractual agreement otherwise, you are likely still entitled to a portion of the home.
You need to protect yourself, and this is a gray area, since it was a pre-marital asset.
You might want to consult an attorney before you make any decisions. I'll ask on Monday if anyone knows.
