You gotta be EFFING KIDDING ME???????????

I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was stressed to me that today is the most important day work wise and we have strict deadlines from Paris and no matter WHAT, we HAVE to be in... So why is it that a) every single big boss is NOT here and b) Out of the 4 "little people" who are supposed to be doing the work, I am the ONLY ONE HERE!!!!!!!!! I left fh who is home with the flu, walked to the train and got soaking wet to do everyone else's work?????????? I can't believe I left my poor FH who has a fever and will probably have to take himself to the doc in this snow behind so I can come here...The worst part is I don't even have anyone to let know I am leaving because I am the only person here!!! If the snow keeps falling, I am leaving early.. It's obvious no one else cares about this place so why should I??? (ESPECIALLY since I get paid the least out of them all and have the least training and barely know what I am doing!!!!!!) Okay. very ANNOYED vent over!!!

Ridiculous! I had to shovel out of my own driveway because my entire family was asleep, and come to work, only to find that the big strapping men called out, including one who literally lives behind the office. We shamed him at least to come, but still.

I'm soaked, I'm cold, and I'm depressed. I do not want to be here right now. I feel your pain...if you can, go home!

That is exactly how I sound on many a day in my office. I am so sorry. I can't do it anymore. I do what is expected of me, and no extra. No late night, no early mornings. They pay me the least to, and I am not working for free. I will never again put my DH second to my work. Family is my number one priority now no matter what. That is all that matters. Jobs come and go.

Thanks girls.. One of my bosses actually came in (at like 11) even though she is really sick! She said she only came becuase she knew I would be the only person who would come through and she didn't want to leave me stranded.. We are both leaving at 2:15 now... I guess in a way it worked out.. I get to leave early and at least one of my bosses recognized that I actually came in when everyone else couldn't be bothered! Thanks again for the advice girls!!!

Oh WOW that does suck!

And it looks as though you have some crappy boses as well! I mean ANY boss who leads by...."Do as I say, not as I do" is absolute CRAP in my book. If they are too precious to get out of their house and drag their a$$es into work... then why should you have to?

I'm right there with you Nikki. Any chance of you saying something about it to them? I think I would!
