Holy Cow! My feet have turned into...
...I don't know what!! My feet and ankles are swollen beyond ridiculous! My blood pressure is o.k. and the dr. says it is just a symptom of the last few weeks (12 days until the due date!), but DAMN!!! I have about had it! Nothing seems to help the swelling either. Thank God this is my last week in the office. But I have sooo much to do at home to get ready. I am just a giant Big Foot pregnant lady! I don't know whether to laugh or cry!! I am so ready to have this baby!

I had that too-same thing, no high blood pressure just lots of swelling. I learned the term "cankles" from someone at that time. I really really feel fo you b/c it's so uncomfortable. I'm glad it's your last week too, it's very hard to work up till the end. Hang in there.

Don't worry they will go back to normal!! People would see my feet & just say HOLY!!! They were HUGE!!! I got sandals at Easy Spirit that had a leather top w/ a bit of elastic at the side. They werethe best shoes EVER!!

Thank you guys for making me laugh!! I can just picture the National Enquirer article...and "cankles" made me think of a new one for myself -- "tankles". Some guy at work asked me today if my feet normally hang over my shoes...um YEAH! Because that is soooo attractive! I have to laugh because otherwise I may strangle someone! And have I mentioned my sausage link fingers? I'm looking at those pg pics on the other post and thinking - maybe some pics of my extremities would make a nice opening to the baby book! HAAAAAAHAAAA! If I don't laugh, I may cry!! Thanks girls for cheering me up!

Aw! Been there, done that!
Just wait...it gets worse after delivery! But it goes away a few days later. While I was in the hospital my feet and ankles swelled SO bad I started hysterically crying because I thought they might explode or something!! I couldn't even walk on them. After a few days, your body gets rid of all that extra fluid by peeing and sweating a lot. Lovely. Hee hee.
