I need (fake) hugs...
I am going on day # 19 with this horrible cough.. I took antibiotics three weeks ago and it cured my throat infection but my cough keeps getting worse. I haven't slept in over a week.. there is no cough medicine in the world that is helping. I even drank tea with whiskey in it last night.. Nothing helps!! I am going to go back to the doc yet again.. but im just cranky and exhausted and annoyed!!!!!!

Did you try taking Bukley's cough medicine? It is awful!!!!!!! but does the trick. Feel better.

Did you try taking Bukley's cough medicine? It is awful!!!!!!! but does the trick. Feel better.
I was going to suggest the same thing! Their slogan actually is "it tastes awful but it works." Just mix it with some OJ, hold your nose, and drink it really quickly.

Yes, they sell it at CVS, but do make sure you do what Meg922 posted. Take it with some OJ really quick. I am not going to lie, it is that bad, but it does work.

I actually like whiskey.. LOL. But my DH just said to me the other day, it taste like they melted the vicks rub into a liquid.. LOL..

they are nasty tho! i personally would rather have a cough than **** on one of those! me i prefer ludens! lol
they sell them at like stop and shop or cvs...
when it says extra strong they seriously mean it!!

DH and SIL have been sick with a cough for SO long... DHs asthma has become unbearable and all the anti biotics in the world wont take it away! I don't know what is going around but it is awful!

Thanks ladies for the hugs!
I am feeling feverish again and my throat is hurting again and now i have constant chest pain.. so I made a doc appointment for tomorrow morning... its clearly getting worse
