I wouldn't order the BP dresses until you are about 6 months out the most. I've been in 2 weddings where we didn't order out dresses until 3 months before the wedding (that's was cutting it kinda close though IMO).

I can tell you that I am going next week for BM dresses for my cousins wedding in aug. They told her when she got her wedding dress a month or so ago she should work on the BM dresses ASAP. So thats what about 8 months.
