Re: table cameras
We aren't. I have seen people give out cards with instructions to upload the pictures they take to an online account. I have thought about doing that.

Re: table cameras
My sister did it and regretted it. She said most of the pics were blurry and a lot of the cameras still had exposures left. Plus, some people took pics of ridiclous things and it ended up being a waste of money.

Re: table cameras
I'm doing both. I know some people are great with uploading pics and sharing them but I know some that keep the pictures on their cameras forever. So I pick up Kodak and Fuji camera's when their on sale. (I heard the decorative no name cameras aren't good) I'm only putting them at my friends tables with a "scavenger hunt" sort of poem. Some of my friends take some crazy pictures with them, but thats fine with me. I'm picture crazy. I can't get enough of them. I'll settle for whatever I get. I'll get them developed on a CD with a coupon so it won't be too much $$ then print the ones I want myself. I'm not bothering putting them at the family tables. I know they won't use them.

I was thinking of doing that a while ago but ppl who have done it in the past said the pics don't come out well and ppl take pointless pics.

Re: table cameras
I'm not doing it, I've heard of lots of people who wound up with many exposures left and that the pics that were taken were often stupid. Then you also have to pay to have these mystery pics developed . . . Doesn't seem worth it to me.
I love the idea of the business cards that request guests to upload their pics to photobucket, etc. I could see that working out really well.

Re: table cameras
I am doing photo cards with a site to upload.... the cost of the card is less than the camera's on the table and the quality is so much better.

Re: table cameras
i have heard of people taking blank disks and putting them on the tables in self addressed envelopes(back to you) and people can put the pics on the disks and mail it back with all the pics they took at the wedding! just a thought>

Re: table cameras
i am doing a camera scavenger hunt with a disposable camera at each table. i've heard the danger of getting back bad pictures but my cousin had this at her wedding and it was just so much fun that i'm willing to take the risk. i got fuji cameras in bulk for really cheap so i figured what the hell. lol.

Re: table cameras
I was originally going to but I heard a lot of bad things about them.
1.) They are expensive to purchase. 2.) They cost a lot to develop. 3.) They are ridiculous pictures of people, that are not always clear. 4.) People dont use them that much.
Since everyone brings there own digital camera, I am going to print out little business cards with a community website that everyone can post there own pictures on. This will allow me to have access to everyone's great pictures from there digital cameras. Ex.

Re: table cameras
A friend of mine had cameras on her tables and she ended up with blurry photos and one camera had photos of a toilet. I'm going to have cards on the table with my shutterfly wedding account for people to upload and share their photos with us.
