It is in all of our natures to give something back to humanity, especially to those who are less fortunate than ourselves – to people who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control. We often take for granted the very things that these people will never have.

This board has been created at the request of the many brides and vendors who support this site and it is to them that it is dedicated. The purpose of this board is to make others aware of the charities that we ALL support in an effort to raise both awareness and the money needed for their support. So, if you have a favorite charity, this is the place to let everyone know. Remember, generosity to those in need comes in many different forms: monetary contributions and volunteering our time and talents at fundraising events. Please post contact information on your charity and ways to get involved.

LIWeddings.com and NYCityWeddings.com have supported The Foundation Fighting Blindness for six years. In the past we have chosen to support one charity in a big way instead of many on a smaller basis. With the launch of this new board, however, we are expanding our love to include child cancer care and research. We are doing so with an initial contribution of $1,000. Liz and I would like to personally thank all of you for allowing us the opportunity to support our charities.
