NEW Inviting co-workers

I know this has been asked a million times but I'm torn on what to do. At my job we work in teams on the different accounts. There are 10 people on my team plus my boss. There are 2, maybe 3 people that I definitely want to invite. Is it an all or nothing deal or would it be ok to just invite a select few (mind you, 4 of them are men and I don't think they would come anyway)?

I've gone back and forth with this, too. I'm inviting all the people from my dept. since we're a small dept. anyway, but I'm close with a few of the guys in IT or scanning but I feel badly inviting some and not all. It doesn't help the fact that some ASSUME they are invited. So, I'm basically in the same boat as you.

Fh, on the other hand, works for a small company but he's not inviting everyone. So, it doesn't have to be an all or nothing thing! HTH!

I work in a department of 6 people (me being one of them). One is in the BP I am inviting 3 others and leaving out one because she is an awful miserable bi-atch. I figure it's my wedding and the people who are there should be there because I want them to be not because I "have" to.

Same thing with my FH. He's a doorman in the city and is only close to 1 guy so he doesn't care, he's only inviting the one guy.

I have 110 people in my office so obviously can't invite everyone but I am inviting only my management team (10 ppl plus spouses/guest).

Small group at my office, but 14 turns to 24. Luckily, my co-worker is getting married the same day. Hoping ppl feel bad declining for one and do so for both. Otherwise, my close friend introduced me to the job and is in my BP... so obviously she's IN... and I would extend the invite to my boss. That's it... without risking offending anyone else.

I work in a small private school and I really get along with everyone. It would really be hard for me to pick and choose between so many of them. I am inviting my principal and 2 teachers that I am very close with plus 3 girls I used to work with. It's pretty tough, but you just cant invite everyone.

NEW Re: Inviting co-workers

I'm going to see where I'm working when I send out invites. I'm not sure if I'll still be at the same job. I'm DEF inviting one girl no matter what.

If I'm still at the job, there's b/t 5-7 others that I would like to invite, but we'll have to see.

NEW Re: Inviting co-workers

i think if you invite some just make sure your not leaving out like only 1 or 2 people otherwise i feel like u might as well invite all.... im just doing all of them we're actually all pretty close with the exception of like 2 or 3 out of the 15 so i just stuck them in there anyway

You invite who you want. I'm not inviting anyone from my job. I'm not close with anyone I work with so would actually feel akward inviting them in my case.
