We are happy to announce the engagement of Shannon Reimer to Steven Sorrentino and to extend our best wishes to their families: Susan and Timoty Reimer; and Susan and Joseph Sorrentino. The happy couple: An Elementary School Teachre from North Bellmore and an Electrical Engineer from East Meadow was engaged on November 14, 2009 on the Beach. They look foward to a July 23, 2011 celebration. We wish them all the very best.

Bridget Bishop and Michael Tselnik
 
We are happy to announce the engagement of Bridget Bishop and Michael Tselnik and welcome them to our online family. The two: An Accountant and a Lawyer, both from Brooklyn were engaged on the Brooklyn Bridge on November 11, 2009. "Mike wanted to surprise me wih an early anniversary dinner. He told me to wear something nice and I met him at work. We parked over by Brooklyn Bridge and he told me that we are going to walk over the bridge to get to dinner. Almost half way over the bridge he pulled me to the railing to look at the view of Manhattan. He grabbed my hands and told me "Remember when I said we will cross that bridge when we get to it? Well we are on a bridge". He reached into his inside coat pocket and I began to cry since I knew what was about to happen. He look at me and said "Will you marrry me?" I of course said YES! "Mike and I have been dating for 5 years and we met back in college at a club." They look forward to a January 8, 2011 celebration at Jericho Terrace. We wish them all the very best.

Erica Cuoco and John Filippi
 
Welcome and congratulations to Erica Cuoco and John Filippi and to their respective families: R.J and Antoinette Cuoco; and Bruce and Jane Filippi. Erica and John were engaged on November 7, 2009 in Central Park. John planned a wonderful day where he brought her to the Central Park Zoo and then they proceeded to walk around the park. They ended up in Shakespeare’s Garden where he found a quiet and romantic spot overlooking the pond. He told her that he wouldn’t want to be here with anyone else and got down on one knee asking if she would marry him. Of course, Erica said yes and was ecstatic as John slid the ring on her finger. They look forward to a Fall 2011 wedding.

The happy couple: A Teacher from Plainview and a Finance Professional from Bayside, was engaged at Simon's apartment on October 30, 2009. "After work, Simon had a surprise waiting for Alyssa in the bedroom. He called her in, and he was down on 1 knee with a rose in one hand and the ring in the other. Alyssa was shocked and extremely happy. She said YES!" They look forward to a July 3, 2011 celebration at the Crest Hollow Country Club. We wish them all the very best.

We are happy to welcome to our online family Cheryl and Jason and congratulate them on their recent engagement. The happy Patchogue couple: A Special Education Preschool Teacher at AHRC and an Account Manager at SMSB, was engaged on October 20, 2009 at their home. " had just taken a mid-term exam at Dowling College (Master Degree in Literacy Education). I came home to candles on the kitchen table with a tray of baked ziti. The lights were off and just the candles were glowing and our favorite Bon Jovi song was playing. Jay told me to say hello to Gia and I did not realizing the ring was attached to her collar. Jay told me to really say hello to Gia and there was the ring box tied around her neck. I could not believe it! I was so surprised and kept saying, REALLY?!! It was a moment I will never forget! The ring was amazing and so beautiful! I am the luckiest girl in the world! They look forward to an August 20, 2010 celebration at East Wind Estate in Wading River. We wish them all the very best.

We are happy to announce the engagement of Jennifer Scherr to Joseph Rmiall and to extend our congratulations to their families: Rose and Michael Scherr; and Lisa and Robert Ramiall. The two: A Social Worker and a Maitenance Supervisor, both from Valley Stream were engaged in July of 2009. "Joe surprised me with his proposal in his backyard on a beautiful summer day in July. He brought all my family and friends; as well as his, to witness the proposal. We celebrated the rest of the night with drinks, food, laughs and all our favorite people. I couldn't ask for a better proposal!" They look forward to a July 16, 2011 celebration. We wish them all the very best.
