When Size Does Matter: Choosing A Ceremony Location That Will Accommodate All Your Guests
by Mia Bolaris-Forget (Staff Writer NYCityWeddings)
My husband is the “introvert” and, me, the quintessential “extrovert”…well, at least when it comes to most things, except church. He’s the guy who thrives on a lively, large congregation, while I’m more comfortable in a small, intimate environment. Thankfully, when we decided to exchange, we had a relatively small crowd and said our vows on the beach. But, for many who opt for a more “traditional” ceremonial setting, a small church and a large guest list, could present a “conflict of interest”. Not willing to compromise on your ceremony space…then consider sending out “reverse” invitations. While it has often been customary for couples to invite more people to the ceremony but not the reception, the opposite could hold true for you. Or you can simply trim your guest list down altogether.
