On-Screen Romance: Broadcasting Your Love

by mia bolaris-forget (Staff Writer NYCityWeddings)

Many of today’s churches, synagogues and places of worship are taking advantage of modern technology and the modern congregations addiction to it. From more up-tempo worship tunes to flatscreen TV strategically positioned so people can sing along, or follow the sermon, faith has embraced a 21st century twist. And, now many couples are or “can” take advantage of these advances.

From “broadcasting” the lyrics to their ceremony songs or the words from each of their “scriptural” readings or their vows to simply adding ambiance to the ceremony by showing significant images to the couple and perhaps those essential to their love story or wedding theme…wedding ceremonies are taking a techno twist. Just make sure to keep it tasteful.
